PMC 2020 Reimagined: $41 Million Goal

Published Date:   July 21, 2020

Topic:   PMC News

The Pan-Mass Challenge has announced a new fundraising goal for PMC 2020 Reimagined: $41 million for our 41st year. Achieving this goal will bring the PMC’s total contributions to more than three quarters of a billion dollars raised for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 1980.

“As much as we would love to be out on the roads together for PMC weekend, I’m very proud of how our community of incredibly dedicated riders, volunteers, donors, sponsors and supporters have reimagined this year’s ride,” said Billy Starr, PMC Founder and Executive Director.

“Our motto of 'There’s a lot riding on us' rings truer than ever this year as the need for cancer research and treatment funding has actually increased during this public health crisis. Pursuing a $41 million fundraising goal will require a true team effort. While 2020 has certainly been unpredictable, the PMC community has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to keeping us on mission during the most difficult of times.”
