Lodging

PMC 2026 • August 1 & 2

To help make riders' experiences seamless so they can focus on their mission of riding and fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the PMC helps coordinate lodging for PMC weekend riders.

Saturday evening lodging at Mass Maritime Academy (MMA) in Bourne is included in the PMC registration fee for two-day riders.

Friday (Worcester and Wellesley) and Sunday (Provincetown) night lodging is not included in the PMC registration fee and is available in limited capacities for an additional charge.

Learn more about all 2026 PMC weekend lodging options below.

Worcester

Worcester is one of two Saturday starts for PMC weekend; 2026 is the first year for this start location, replacing the Sturbridge start.

Rider check-in is available Friday afternoon and Saturday morning; most riders choose to arrive in Worcester Friday and stay at a hotel in the area.

Hotels

  • When registering, riders can request a Worcester-area hotel. Registered riders will be emailed a link to the hotel options after they register for PMC 2026 and will then be eligible to book their own accommodations; the PMC will not be booking hotel rooms for riders in Worcester, as was done in Sturbridge. Links to hotel room blocks will be available beginning in January.
  • The PMC has arranged room blocks at 10 hotels in Worcester and Auburn. Hotel room rates range from $189 to $359.
  • All of these hotels are between 2 and 6 miles from the College of the Holy Cross.

Shuttles

Free shuttle buses between Holy Cross and the 10 local hotels will be running continuously Friday afternoon and again Saturday morning. Riders are encouraged to take these shuttles to and from Holy Cross to reduce the number of cars driving on campus. A list of the hotels and the shuttle schedule will be made available in 2026.

On-Campus Lodging

Shared group lodging at Holy Cross will also be available as an alternative accommodation option ($50).

If you have questions about lodging, please contact Susan Brogan.

Wellesley

Routes start from Babson College in Wellesley on both Saturday and Sunday of PMC weekend. Rider check-in is available Friday afternoon, as well as early Saturday and Sunday morning.

Babson Executive Conference Center

Many riders who start at Babson are local to the area and do not need a hotel room, however, there is a hotel on the Babson campus. These hotel rooms at the Babson Executive Conference Center are for Babson riders only (not guests or family members).

Babson Dorms

New in 2026: Limited dorm rooms will be available for riders who wish to stay on campus ($50).

Other Hotels

If the Executive Conference Center is full or you would prefer to stay off campus, there are other hotels in the Wellesley area.

Mass Maritime Academy (Bourne)

Lodging at Mass Maritime Academy (MMA) in Bourne is included in the registration fee for two-day riders. All riders starting from Worcester or Wellesley end day one (Saturday) at MMA and have the option to sleep on campus.

The registration fee is reduced by $50 if a rider opts to stay off campus.

Dorms

Dorm rooms hold up to four riders (2 or 3 beds plus 1 or 2 mattresses). Room assignments are first come first serve. Bring your own bedding (a pillow and light sleeping bag or sheets).

During registration, riders can select "single gender room" for a single gender dorm room; no selection will put you in mixed gender room. Riders may also request roommates they want to share a room with during registration.

Ship

The new ship, the NSMV Patriot State, is at MMA. There are rooms that sleep 12 to 30 people, as well as a limited number of 4-person rooms. Riders can request single-gender or mixed-gender rooms.

Riders requesting to sleep on the ship must be comfortable climbing multiple flights of stairs, as there is not an elevator.

Please note that the Patriot State is part of our National Defense Reserve Fleet and may be redeployed on short notice to support disaster response or other critical national needs. In the unlikely event that the Patriot State is redeployed, riders will be reassigned to other MMA-based accommodations such as dorms or shared spaces like the gym; riders may also choose to bring their own tent if they prefer.

Shared Space

Shared space is a communal sleeping space with mattresses in designated male, female, and co-ed sections. Riders will need to bring their own bedding (a pillow and light sleeping bag or sheets) and eye mask, since emergency lighting must remain on overnight for safety reasons.

We ask riders to be courteous of their fellow riders by keeping noise to a minimum and cleaning up after themselves.

Tent

Riders may bring their own tent as part of their luggage. Each rider is responsible for setting up and taking down their own tent. You will need to bring your own bedding (a pillow and light sleeping bag or sheets).

Use one luggage tag for your bag and one for your tent.

Luggage Tags

Each PMC weekend rider will receive two luggage tags in their PMC weekend credentials. Each rider's luggage (limited to a small bag not exceeding 25 pounds) will be transported from their start to finish location each day of PMC weekend.

For example, if a rider starts at Babson College in Wellesley on Saturday, their luggage will be transported by truck from there to Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne. If they are continuing from Bourne to Provincetown on Sunday, their luggage will also be transported from Bourne to the Provincetown Inn or Provincetown Monument Finish.

Provincetown

There are two finish lines in Provincetown: one at the Provincetown Inn (1 Commercial Street) and one at the Provincetown Monument (28 Winslow Street). A limited number of hotel rooms are available Sunday night at the Provincetown Inn at an additional cost to riders.
