Dave Hellman to Retire from PMC

Published Date:   February 08, 2022

Topic:   PMC News

After 22 years on the Pan-Mass Challenge staff, and 10 years prior to that as a rider, Dave Hellman has decided that PMC 2022 will be his last one working at the organization. He will retire from the PMC after the upcoming PMC weekend.

Leading technology development, Dave has kept the PMC at the forefront of fundraising innovation and he leaves a legacy of achievements including personal fundraising pages, peer-to-peer online giving, and integrations with donor advised funds and Facebook Fundraisers. These, and other innovations, have enabled the PMC to maintain its 100 percent pass-through that has been so critical in attracting our community and motivating it to new fundraising heights.

Dave has been a key member of the PMC team and has helped maintain the PMC’s position as the largest single athletic fundraiser in the US. His contributions will be missed. The PMC will announce a search for a new technology leader in the coming month.

We wish Dave every success in this next chapter of his life and look forward to seeing him ride the PMC for many years to come.

Best,
