Boloco and the Cape Codder Smoothie can help fund your PMC

Boston-based boloco wants to help PMCers raise money this season.   New to the PMC, boloco will be feeding hungry cyclists at the opening ceremony at Babson College for the Wellesley starting line. The company, which supports various cycling events, was eager to get involved in the PMC to help riders raise more money. Starting today, July 15, and for the next two weeks when you purchase a Cape Codder smoothie (a Massachusetts-inspired, cool and refreshing blend of cranberries, blueberries, apple juice, raspberry sorbet and non-fat frozen yogurt), boloco will donate $0.25 to the boloco PMC fund.

Making this promotion even sweeter - you can win the money for your PMC ride. Boloco hopes to sell at least 4,000 Cape Codder Smoothies and raise $1,000 for the PMC, but there's no limit. The more smoothies you drink, the more that boloco will donate. That money will be awarded to up to five deserving PMC cyclists. So how do you get your share of boloco's fund? After you buy your smoothie at any of boloco's 16 locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, head to facebook.com/boloco and follow the instructions: Go to facebook.com/boloco to nominate a PMC rider (heck, you can even nominate yourself). Post on our wall and let us know why your nominee deserves our support and why we should sponsor him or her as part of our "unofficial" boloco PMC team. The five riders that get the most friends, family, co-workers, and pets to "like" their posts between now and July 22 will move onto Phase 2, which will be hosted on boloco.com the following week. Online votes at boloco.com will determine the winners!
