2015 PMC Goal - Message from Billy Starr

To our PMC Community:

I am pleased to announce that, for our 36th year, we have set our sights on raising a total of $500,000,000 since 1980! That's right - our goal for this year is $45 million! That is not too tall an order for this group nor is it a "lay-up" either. 

To keep it simple, I would ask that all registered riders attempt to raise 10 percent more money than they did last year. Easier said than done, I know, but I ask nonetheless. The minimums are what they are so nobody is bound by this request. But at the end of the day, would any of us feel complete at year-end stating that we had given $499,000,000 to Dana-Farber? It just sounds off ... by about a million dollars.

I know this may sound "flip" but what we do and how we do it is serious business. We have, by culture and initiation, year after year proven that we are best in class at raising money. So, this is the year for the PMC to become a "½ billion dollar baby!" That sounds about right.
