Pan-Mass Challenge Announces Record-Breaking 2024 Fundraising Goal: $75 Million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
After raising a monumental $72 million in 2023, the Pan-Mass Challenge, the world's single most successful athletic fundraiser, is lifting the fundraising bar once again. The organization, which is poised to cross $1 billion in lifetime fundraising this summer, is announcing an unprecedented 2024 fundraising goal of $75 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
For the 18th consecutive year, the PMC will donate 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar to support lifesaving cancer research and treatment as Dana-Farber’s largest single contributor. If achieved, this year’s gift would bring the PMC’s total contributions to Dana-Farber to $1.047 billion since 1980. The way the PMC consistently raises its fundraising bar to new heights wouldn’t be possible without its community of riders’, donors’ and volunteers’ fierce determination to one day eradicate cancer.
The 2024 gift will include funds from the PMC, PMC Unpaved, PMC Winter Cycle, and PMC Kids Rides. 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar from each of these events goes to cancer research and treatment Dana-Farber.
Registration for PMC 2024 (August 3-4) is open (pmc.org/ride) – it’s not too late to be “One in a Billion” and make an impact during this milestone year. For those interested in gravel riding, registration to experience PMC Unpaved (September 28) in the Berkshires recently opened at unpaved.org, and for those raising the next generation of cyclists and fundraisers, visit kids.pmc.org to learn more about PMC Kids Rides Program.
