PMC Legacy Society

PMC riders, volunteers and donors are among the most committed people on earth. We have come to learn that some PMCers are thinking about how to continue their commitment to the PMC for years to come.

The PMC Legacy Society recognizes the generosity of those who have named the PMC in their estate plans.

Your Legacy

The PMC Legacy Society was created to make sure that the PMC – which has now contributed $900 million towards treatment and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute – will continue long into the future. By naming the PMC in your estate plans through a bequest in your will or as a beneficiary on a financial asset – a retirement plan, financial account or insurance policy – you help ensure that future.

Wills and Living Trusts

Name the PMC as a charitable bequest in your will or living trust.

Beneficiary Designations

Name the PMC as a beneficiary of your assets – retirement plans, life insurance policies, DAFs, bank or brokerage accounts.  Simply list Pan-Mass Challenge (tax ID 04-2746912) on your beneficiary designation form.

"Each year, when I ride the PMC, I reflect on being part of an endeavor that is so much bigger than any one of us. Nothing else I do makes me feel so alive – yet so vulnerable and humbled – as riding the PMC. I feel enormously privileged to be part of the amazing PMC community and our collective effort to make such an important difference for so many others.
Recently, when I updated my estate plans, I reflected on the experiences and opportunities that have greatly influenced and shaped me – and the PMC was among those at the top of the list. The decision to name the PMC in my will has deepened my emotional commitment to the organization and its mission. My faith in the PMC and its future makes me proud to know I'm helping to provide for it upon my passing (and long after I'm able to click into those pedals!) as a member of the PMC Legacy Society."
