Zenni Optical, a pioneer in the online eyewear industry, is proud to become the official eyewear sponsor of the Pan-Mass Challenge. Zenni will also serve as a sponsor for the PMC Kids Rides program, which features mini bike-a-thons throughout New England that involve children ages 2 to 15 in the PMC mission. This collaboration marks a significant step in supporting the PMC's work to raise funds for cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

As part of the partnership, Zenni will be supporting PMC Kids Rides throughout the year, helping to inspire and empower the youngest riders and fundraisers. Zenni will also be on-site at select PMC events, providing attendees the opportunity to try on and purchase its new line of high-quality, affordable cycling sunglasses – Zunnies. This collaboration highlights Zenni’s continued commitment to making eyewear more accessible and affordable for children and families nationwide.

“At Zenni, we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality eyewear that empowers them to see the world, and their potential, more clearly,” said Veronica Alcaro, VP of Brand at Zenni. “We’re honored to support the Pan-Mass Challenge and its inspiring community of riders, families, and young fundraisers as they work tirelessly to advance cancer research and patient care. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to accessibility, impact, and making a meaningful difference - one mile, and one pair of glasses, at a time.”

Since 1980, the PMC has raised over $1 billion, with 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar going directly to support cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber. This commitment to fundraising efficiency has made the PMC the single largest contributor to the Jimmy Fund, representing 66 percent of its annual revenue. In 2025, the organization has a fundraising goal of $76 million for the institute.

“The PMC is built on the community of riders, volunteers, and partners who share a passion for our mission to fund lifesaving cancer research and treatment,” said Billy Starr, Founder & Chairman of the Pan-Mass Challenge. “We are grateful for Zenni’s support as a sponsor to help bring us Closer By The Mile to a world without cancer.”

The PMC relies on the support of dedicated cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors, and individual contributors to fuel its success. By joining forces with Zenni, the PMC strengthens its ability to maximize fundraising efficiency and make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.

About the Pan-Mass Challenge

The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is a bike-a-thon that today raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the world. The PMC was founded in 1980 by Billy Starr, who remains the event's Founder & Chairman, an annual cyclist, and a fundraiser. The PMC has since raised $1.047 billion for adult and pediatric patient care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund. The event donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to the cause, generating 66 percent of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue as Dana-Farber's single largest contributor. The PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors, and individual donors, all of whom are essential to the PMC's goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift. The PMC's hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
