PMC 2011 - New Route Added

Published Date:   December 09, 2010

Topic:   Press Releases

In effort to generate even greater success in 2011, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge is increasing options so those new to cycling or fundraising can get involved. The PMC has announced a 25-mile, one day route from Wellesley to Sharon on the Sunday of PMC weekend. This new route is open to teens ages 13-17 with a $500 fundraising minimum and to adults 18 and over with a $1,000 fundraising minimum. Just like its 47-mile big brother, this is an introductory route into the cycling / fundraising world of the PMC. With 11 different cycling options over two days and fundraising requirements from $500 to $4,200, the PMC has a route for any one at any level. PMC alumni – this new route is great way to bring in your teens, parents and friends who have been cheering you along all these years. One other piece of news from the PMC office: all fundraising requirements will stay the same in 2011 as they were in 2010. You can find all of the PMC route options here. In less than a month, PMC alumni can register for the 2011 32nd annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge bike-a-thon. Alumni register opens Jan. 11. Open registration starts Jan. 18.

See you on the road!
