Living Proof and Team Rider Photo Info

Topic:   PMC News

One of the highlights of completing the exhausting first leg of the Pan-Mass Challenge – either an 111 mile trek from Sturbridge or an 84-mile ride from Wellesley – is arriving in Bourne and being greeted with food, cold beer, music and a great PMC party. After having a massage, eating burgers, and chilling on the green, team and Living Proof riders gather to have their photos taken by the bay with the Bourne Bridge in the background. The LIVING PROOF photo is the PMC's way to pay tribute to the approximately 300 amazing cancer survivors who ride in the PMC every year. While receiving the Living Proof t-shirts and getting in position for the shot, Living Proof riders share their stories and offer each other support. If you are a Living Proof rider or a member of a PMC team, here is the information you need to know: LIVING PROOF PHOTO: MMA/BOURNE, Saturday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m.: The annual photo of PMC cyclists who are cancer survivors, will be taken near the stone wall along the canal. Living Proof T-shirts will be passed out starting at 6 p.m. They will be yours to keep. LIVING PROOF PHOTO: BABSON COLLEGE, Sunday, Aug. 8 at 7 a.m.: Will be taken in the back of the Trim parking lot. Living Proof T-shirts will be passed out starting at 6 a.m. They will be yours to keep. TEAM PHOTOS: MMA/BOURNE, Saturday, Aug. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. Team photos will be taken near the stone wall and Mass Maritime Academy sign along the canal. Team photos will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis.
