Over the course of 32 days during the summer of 2009, Michael Moore and his son, Jacob, 15, of Harwich, toured California from the seat of their bicycles while sporting their PMC jerseys. They rode 1,256 miles on two fully loaded bikes (Michael's weighed in at over 80 pounds). Their trek took them through various state parks and landmarks, including Yosemite, and through cities like San Francisco and Fresno. They had so much fun that they are in the early planning stages of a 450-mile trip through the Adirondacks next summer.

Michael is a 10-year PMCer who has raised more than $34,000 to date. "The trip was a wonderful father-son bonding experience that we'll always remember," says Michael. "It provided us with an opportunity to share our love for cycling and we spent hours talking, viewing landmarks, relatives and meeting new people along the way."
