The Pan-Mass Challenge is pleased to announce that Takeda will be sponsoring the Wellesley hub site for PMC 2022. The PMC raises lifesaving funds for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, donating 100 percent of rider-raised dollars directly to the cause. Following over a decade of employee participation in the PMC ride, Takeda is proud to continue its commitment to supporting patients through this important program.

“Patients with cancer and their families deserve all the support they can get, and it is essential for us, as a community, to focus on improving their lives through research and care,” said Dion Warren, Head of the US Oncology Business Unit, Takeda Oncology. “The Pan-Mass Challenge is a wonderful opportunity for community members, volunteers, and sponsors to join forces and combat cancer together. We are incredibly proud to partner with and sponsor the Pan-Mass Challenge again this year to help advance cancer research.”

PMC 2022 will take place on Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7, across Massachusetts, where over 6,000 cyclists will ride up to 210 miles over the course of both days. Volunteers, donors and sponsors will join to support the cyclists with a mission to raise $66 million for Dana-Farber.

“On behalf of the entire PMC community, I am happy to welcome back Takeda as a hub site sponsor for PMC 2022,” said Billy Starr, Founder and Executive Director of the PMC. “We are grateful for their partnership as we set our sights on a $66 million fundraising goal for Dana-Farber this year.”

The PMC has raised $831 million for Dana-Farber since its inception in 1980. Over 280,000 supporters contribute to the PMC annually. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s largest single contributor, generating 55% of its Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue.
