PMC & DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. Continue Their Ride Together

The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is pleased to announce that DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. will continue to be the PMC’s official bike tour sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.

The 36th PMC, set for Aug. 1 and 2, is the largest single athletic fundraising event in the country. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $455 million for the Jimmy Fund, which supports adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). In 2014, more than 5,500 cyclists raised a record $41 million for DFCI – 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar going directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

“I have been a DuVine ‘devotee’ for over 5 years,” says Billy Starr, PMC Founder and Executive Director. “They run first-class bicycle vacations and their product dovetails nicely with my own belief system about life on a bike being life-enhancing. Andy and his team bring that same passion to their work and play. When PMCers have time in their lives for a bicycle vacation – or to train for the PMC in a different location – they will find DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. an inspired holiday. Their being the official bike tour company of the PMC is perfect synergy.”

As the official bike tour operator of the PMC, DuVine is supporting the event in many ways. At the PMC’s hub site at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA) in Bourne, Mass., which serves as both a starting and finish line, cyclists will have the opportunity to recharge their bodies, and be treated to wine and cheese, in the DuVine Après Vélo Lounge. The company also operates an annual bike tour exclusively for PMC riders. This year’s group will be exploring Spain’s Costa Brava from September 19-24, 2015.

DuVine, the global leader in premier bicycle vacations, is known for providing their travelers with unparalleled service and unforgettable boutique experiences. As a proud supporter of the PMC, DuVine strives to provide the riders of this event with the same care and attention they would for their guests on tour.

“I am always inspired by the dedication and spirit of the PMC riders,” says Andy Levine, DuVine President and Founder, and 7-time PMC participant. “The time and effort these riders put into helping the PMC achieve its cancer-fighting mission is incredible. My team and I are honored to be able to give back to these riders and support the Pan-Mass Challenge organization.”
