Hannah Hellebush Elected to PMC Board of Directors

The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), the nation’s single most successful athletic fundraiser, announced that Hannah Hellebush, vice president at TA Associates in Boston, has been elected to its board of directors. As a 7-year rider and fundraiser, Hellebush is already a dedicated member of the PMC community as she’s also been a 5-year member of the organization’s advisory board.

Hellebush began her career at The Parthenon Group (now EY-Parthenon), serving a combination of private equity and corporate clients and – for two years – as global chief of staff to Parthenon’s CEO and founder. While at Parthenon, she led a pro-bono strategic assessment for the PMC, working closely with the PMC’s staff. She later led marketing for Dragonfly Commerce, an ecommerce startup, until she became a vice president at TA Associates in 2022. In her current position, she leads value creation for the firm’s consumer portfolio.

“Hannah has been a long-time rider, fundraiser and advisory board member for the PMC, and we’re thrilled to be elevating her to our board of directors,” said PMC Founder & Executive Director Billy Starr. "As we approach $1 billion in lifetime fundraising, we’re grateful for individuals like Hannah who share our mission and work tirelessly with us to one day eradicate cancer. I want to congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition.”

As a proud Duke University alum and North Carolina native, Hellebush was a B.N. Duke scholar, and has an M.B.A. from The Kellogg School of Management.

The PMC donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as the Institute’s largest single contributor, accounting for 62 percent of its Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for cancer research and treatment, donating $72 million in 2023 alone. In 2024, the PMC is eager to reconvene its dedicated community of riders, volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors to not only raise the fundraising bar for cancer research and treatment once again, but to achieve a significant milestone together: $1 billion contributed to the fight against cancer.

In her newly elevated position on the board, Hellebush will play an integral role in this year’s fundraising milestone and in the continued growth of the PMC. To learn more about the organization, visit www.pmc.org.
