Tim Stelzer's Ride
Why I Ride ...
My name is Tim Stelzer a.k.a SPECK to my fellow teammates. I earned the nickname by falling back on training rides, especially the HILLS :)
2010 will be my 3rd year riding in The Pan MA Challenge. I am honored to be part of a dedicated group of riders known as Brielle's Brigade. Our team namesake, Brielle is a beautiful little girl and Cancer Survivor who continues to inpire all of us. With your help and generosity, the team has raised almost $500,000 for research since forming in 2006.
I have become an avid cyclist and enjoy every minute and mile of riding with this amazing group of people. I live in Longmeadow, MA with my wife Sharon and daughters Libby (11) and Grace (9). I work for Genentech, a biopharmaceutical company leading the way in Cancer treatment. I have seen first hand what miracles can be brought forth with enough time, effort, and money for research.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful and committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
