Timothy scanlon's Ride

Why I Ride ...

Dear Friends and Family,

On August 1st and 2nd, I am participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the third year in a row. For those of you who dont know the PMC  it is a 180 mile charity bike ride across Massachusetts in support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  Last year the event raised over $30 million to search for cures for cancer and related diseases.

I am riding this year on behalf of two inspiring individualsmy dad and my Godson.  My father, Gerald Scanlon, passed away  last summert after a courageous 15 year battle with cancer.  My Godson, Harry Clark, at age 9 has overcome brain cancer with incredible spirit and courage.  My ride and your support will fund progress in the fight against cancer in their honor.

If you are interested in supporting this cause, please see below.

Thanks for your time and generosity.
Best,
Tim
