Since I moved to Charlotte, NC, over 5 years ago, I still have found the time and energy to support the PMC.  A cause (finding and funding an end to cancer)  certainly deserves the attention of everyone regardless of whether they have been directly or indirectly touched by cancer. I have been supporting the PMC since 1992.   Many people ask me why I continue to ride year after year and what are the most rewarding and most difficult parts of the PMC.  I usually tell them this:  Seeing and watching the cancer survivors ride the PMC year after year is just an amazing accomplishment for them as well as where cancer research has gone and continues to go with the funds that the PMC provide.  However, the part of the PMC that is most difficult for me is noticing the PMC riders from past rides that did not survive cancer.

 

So, to say that the PMC is a benefit to fighting cancer is an understatement.  Especially since all the funds collected go directly to support the Jimmy Fund.  Difficult to beat wouldn't you say??
