The North Shore Cyclopaths

Founded by Av Hammer, Sam Zoll, Bill Cantor and Sheldon Brown 38 years ago, the North Shore Cyclopaths have grown to over 45 riders, many of them past and present PMC riders. In 1984, after completing a century ride to Maine, PMC rider Brenda White challenged the four to do "a real ride" -- the PMC! Since then, the North Shore Cyclopaths have been involved in the PMC and The Jimmy Fund annually. This year, nearly 2 dozen Cyclopath riders and volunteers will participate in the PMC. (Several are listed below.) With riders of varying speeds, (many riding at a social pace), and mileage determined by our breakfast destination, we are often accused of being a "breakfast club" more than a cycling club. (We don't mind!) We may not be the fastest cycling group out there, but with a great sense of humor and a good breakfast, we definitely laugh the most. PMC - Closer by the Mile.
