Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the Pan-Mass Challenge because it combines my love for cycling with a commitment to fight cancer, something that has affected my family. Within a few years at the beginning of our new century I lost several relatives to cancer. After pulling my head out of the sand and taking stock of my loved ones who had either had their lives cut short or drastically affected by a cancer diagnosis, I came up with a depressingly huge list - I felt I had to do something about this.

I'm taking the "pan Massachusetts" aspect of the Pan Mass Challenge seriously by riding almost 300 miles across the state of Massachusetts in 3 days. A handful of us are taking this considerable challenge upon ourselves in order to bring more public awareness and media attention to the good people who ride, the people that sponsor them, and the people we are riding for.
