Tod Loofbourrow's Ride

Why I Ride ...

As a kid, I had a greatest hero - Jacques Cousteau, the inventor of the aqualung, which allowed us to explore the 3/4 of our world which lay underwater.

As an adult, I had a greatest hero - Steve Jobs, who created magical devices which allowed us to create worlds which had only existed in our imaginations.

This year, pancreatic cancer took Steve Jobs at 56, decades before his time.

Who knows what wonder the world could have seen in those decades?  Who knows how many more entrepreneurs, inventors, artists, and dreamers he could have inspired?

This year, I rode my 11th Pan Mass Challenge to raise money for cancer research at Dana Farber, one of the worlds foremost cancer research hospitals.  It rained this year during the ride.

I ride each year for members of my family and friends who have been affected by cancer.  This year, I would also like to dedicate my ride to the memory of Steve Jobs.  If you would like to donate to help end the scourge of cancer, you can do so here.

100% of your donations go directly to cancer research.

Thanks.

Tod
