Tyler Hoffman's Ride
Why I Ride ...
Dear Friends and Family,
As some of you may know, I am riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the second time this year. Last year, I experienced the PMC for the first time and it was a wonderful weekend. 192 miles, 5,000 riders, 3,000 volunteers, 85 kegs of Harpoon beer, and most importantly, $33M raised for cancer research. And due to $3.5M on in-kind donations and event support, 100% of every rider raised dollar goes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC is the nation's largest charity fundraising event.
Last year was the first year we formed the Beachcomber team with 8 riders. This year the team has expanded to 15 riders and is quickly becoming a well known PMC team due to the generosity of the Beachcomber. Side note: if anyone is on the Cape this Thursday, the Beachcomber is hosting the Clam Jam where $25 at the door gives you all the clams you can eat with all proceeds going to the PMC.
In order to reach my fundraising goal, I need your help. Please consider a donation of any size; it all helps and all goes towards a great organization.
Let's find a cure!
