Team Bright Happy Power's Ride
Why We Ride ...
Bright Happy Power - a 501[c]3 charitable public foundation - was founded in December 2007 to honor the life of 9-year-old leukemia patient Jessie Doktor, who died of complications following a bone marrow transplant in late 2007.
Bright Happy Power is currently at work in Children's Hospital Boston and Dana Farber's Jimmy Fund Clinic among childhood cancer and transplant patients.
Bright Happy Power also recently received an international humanitarian service award for its work with Rotaplast in Chile. The foundation continues to work on service projects abroad, in areas such as Haiti and Guatemala.
The mission of this foundation is to develop sources of hands-on hope, happiness and empowerment in the lives of children and their families who face life-threatening or catastrophic challenges.
