Steven Siegel's Ride

Why I Ride ...

Dear donors,

Thank you for supporting me and Dana Farber in the hard fight against childhood and adult cancers.

What started out for me as a "fun ride" with my brother 25 years ago quickly evolved into a serious effort to carry out my role in the cancer fight, as a fundraiser.

We all have our stations in this battle - doctors perform research, clinicians treat patients, riders like me work to raise awareness, and donors like you finance the whole effort.

How are we all doing? Well, in the vernacular of the bikers of the PMC, we are getting closer by the mile. Our successes are measured in the smallest of increments, but we have come a long distance since my first ride in the summer of 1984.

With your help, year by year, we are getting closer to my personal goal of ending cancer during my lifetime.

Thank you again for doing your share.

Best Regards, Steve
