Stephen Sacco's Ride
Why I Ride ...
Why do I ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge every year? ....... I ride because I know how fortunate I am to have healthy children.
This year marks my 24th PMC ride. It's hard to believe how much time has gone by since my first ride! Over the past 23 years, my generous sponsors have contributed $130,000 to this great cause! The route hasn't changed much over time but the hills seem to get higher every year, the miles have become longer and, for some unexplained reason, the other cyclists are younger than they used to be! But I'm still at it and I'll stay with the PMC as long as I have generous sponsors like you to support my ride.
My 2010 ride is dedicated to the memory of Brad Blood who recently lost his battle with cancer. My goal this year is to raise $10,000. The chart on the right shows my progress to date. To sponsor my ride, click on the "Donate to my Ride" button below. Then come back often to check on my progress.
I thank you for your personal support and encouragement. And most importantly, I thank you for your financial support of the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. As the PMC slogan says so perfectly, each year we are Closer by the Mile to finding a cure.
