Sidney Kadish's Ride

Why I Ride ...

I have been riding the PMC since 1995. This year will be my 13th ride, having lost 2 from a fracture from a training accident and another from a scheduling mishap. Over the years, I have raised about $30,000. But beyond the money, the event is a great thrill. The ride itself is terrific, with the sun rising over the Bourne bridge, the seacoast, the dunes, the cranberry bogs and the mountains of Central Mass. Lots of farms, lakes, bogs, etc. Most uplifting are the people lining the roads and cheering you on. I look forward to training up to shape and riding successfully and safely. I appreciate the support you lend me. As a radiation oncologist, I work professionally with cancer patients and their families every day. As a PMC rider, I see cancer from the perspective of the survivors, the supporters, and the general public which wants to do whatever it can to impact on this scourge. Thanks for your help. Sid K.
