Why I Ride ...
As you know, usually I identify myself as a runner. However, for my summer vacation this year...
I rode my bike 192 miles with 5,000 of my best friends. This ride had everything going for it--heat, hills, sore tushies. And lots of stories. The weekend was a reminder writ large that practically everyone's life has been touched by cancer--individually, or friends and loved ones.
The Pan Mass Challenge focuses enrgy and raises money for cancer research. Maybe someday we will just go on a regular bike road trip. But until then, please join me in supporting this important work.
