Stephen Fabry's Ride
Why I Ride ...
Thank you for taking the time to look at the PMC website and my personal story. This is my 4th PMC ride and it has become a major part of my summers and life. The ride unites thousands of people together in a way that I feel that we rarely see these days. Each year, I am always most impressed with the volunteers who provide incredibly efficient and positive logistical support for all of the riders. The PMC is so well supported that all of the fundraising goes to the Jimmy Fund. Like so many, cancer has touched my personal life and is also an almost daily part of my work life. My mother-in-law has been through several cancer treatments and is now a major advocate for the American Cancer Society. I see mainly patients with liver disease and the incidence of liver cancer is rising at an incredible rate as a large cohort of patients with hepatitis C age.
Thank you very much for supporting me!
