Why I Ride ...
We
are riding the 2011 Pan Mass Challenge in loving memory of Mary
Eisnor--a brave little 8-year old who lost her tremendously courageous
battle with Hepatoblastoma in December 2010. She battled for over 4
years through dozens of cycles of chemotherapy, days of radiation, many
of nights inpatient at Children's Hospital, countless days receiving
treatment at the Jimmy Fund, and had multiple major operations to
remove tumors from her lung, liver, abdominal cavity, and pelvis. But
despite all of the pains, and prods, and needle pokes, and
re-pokes...she still had the most incredible smile and unyielding
spirit. She is an inspiration to all of us!!! Our fight against this
terrible disease continues as we strive for a day that no child ever has
to go through what Mary did! Please support our ride in honor of Mary,
and continue to pray for her family! Thank you.
