Peter Lounsbury's Ride
Why I Ride ...
I began my involvement with the PMC in 2003 when a neighbor, Phil Morin, was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. A group of neighbors and friends got together and formed Team Phil's Phriends to show support for Phil and the entire Morin Family. Unfortunately Phil lost his battle shortly before our first ride, however Phil's Phriends continue to this day and ride in his memory and continue to raise funds in an effort to do our small part in the fight against cancer. Each year brings on a new meaning as we learn of new stories of friends and family that have either lost their battle or have been diagnosed with one of the many forms of cancer. Although not a "Cyclist" I truly look forward to this event every year and I am continually humbled by the generosity and support of so many people. I ride for those that have lost their fight, those entering the fight and those who have yet been afflicted in hopes that we can find a cure. Thank you for considering a donation to our cause! Pete
