Cancer is still bad, cancer still inflicts too much pain on too many people and money still needs to be raised for cancer research.  I know that right now many traditional fundraising methods are not producing the hoped results which seem to drive more requests for donations than ever before.   I hope you will still consider doing what you can to support the Pan Mass Challenge. 

 

This year I had a schedule conflict so cannot ride.  Well, that and I have figured out that I actually don't really enjoy riding my bike quite that much!   I still want to participate in raising money for PMC though. 

 

In case you don't already know, the Pan Mass Challenge has raised over $270 million for cancer research over the last 30 years.  This year the goal is to raise another $31 million for the Jimmy Fund, 100% of rider raised dollars go toward this cause.  The PMC raises more for charity than any other single fundraising event in the country.

 

Since I am not actually riding I do not have a minimum amount to raise but still want to shoot for my annual amount of $1000.  Donations are tax deductible and may be made online at http://www.pmc.org/egifts/PK0076
