Why I Ride ...
Proud Member of Brielle's Brigade. 2011 is my fourth PMC and will be riding the Sturbridge to Provincetown route. We ride in honor of family and friends close to us who have battled cancer. Our goal is to surpass the $600,000 in fundraising this year and on our way to $1 Million!
I will join many of my team members a day early and start our ride from Hillsdale New York - 3 days and nearly 300 miles.

Justin Hayes
Justin Hayes
Over the past two years, Justin Hayes, has been Brielle Brigade's pedal partner as he went through his treatment for Leukemia. We are glad to say that Justin is doing well and has completed his treatments and is a happy healthy 8 year old. This year he rode his first PMC kids ride.. He is a success story because of the work that is performed at Dana Farber....We will continue to ride is his honor.
Coach Sean:
I will continue to ride in memory of "Coach Sean". A youth wrestling and football coach from North Carolina who lost his battle in November 2009. He is a hero and inspiration to many young athletes and to all of those who knew him. I became aware of Coach Sean's battle through a hometown friend whose children benefitted from his dedication to youth sports. He has no doubt left a profound legacy to those who had a chance to know him.
Dave and Deb:
I will be riding in honor for two friends and former colleagues Dave and Deb - both were diagnosed earlier this year and have just started their respective battles.
Sue:
I will also be riding in honor for Sue a friend and colleague recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.. She is currently receiving treatment and responding well.
Alan:
A family friend diagnosed with cancer a year ago.
With every success story we hear, there is always someone just starting their battle against cancer. It is because of the generous donations of our supporters that Dana Faber has had such great success in cancer research and treatment..
The 2011 PMC will be a very special weekend for all of us. Thank you for your support.
