Marc Mann's Ride
Why I Ride ...
People ask me when I started riding, I think I was 3 or 4. I always loved riding, racing around the neighborhood, have my own Indy 500 in Milford...I was a boy on my bike. The Pan Mass wasn't a mileage challenge for me, it was always about giving back to the Dana Farber Institute.
My father, Richard Mann, battled 18 years with cancer. He was treated in 1987 with a Bone Marrow transplant at the Dana Farber. Until his death from liver cancer on March 13, 2004, he always said, ""God has been good to him."
During these 18 years, he was blessed with seven grandchildren...all healthy. And, because of programs at the Dana Farber, they all have a brighter future in their battles against cancer.
Please support the Pan Mass Challenge. My egift is MM0056.
Thank You,
Marc
