Why I Ride ...
I wanted to announce that this August 6th and 7th I will be participating in the 32d Pan-Mass Challenge! My route is the two-day 192-mile bike ride from Sturbridge MA, to Provincetown, on the tip of Cape Cod. This will be my second PMC, and I hope I can count on your support!
The PMC is a fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund, which benefits the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and is committed to backing life saving cancer-research and treatment. The ride provides 60% of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue, and last year I joined 5000 cyclists to raise $33 million, 100% of which was donated to Dana-Faber.
Both of my biological grandmothers’ lives were cut short by breast cancer, and never having the opportunity to meet either of them, I am riding in their memory.
