Thank you for sponsoring my ride.  As many of you know, I have been personally touched by cancer in my family.  My Mother, my Father, my Mother-In-law have all been stricken and have passed away by various forms of cancer.  My sister-in-law continues to battle breast cancer, and numerous friends have all been touched in some way or another.

I have always wanted to be able to do something that would make a difference in the "fight".  When asked to ride in the challenge, I realized this was it!  I love cycling and this was a perfect opportunity to put my love to work.

I appreciate your support.  I ask that you keep me and all of the other riders in your thoughts and prayers as we take on this challenge of 300+ miles in August.
