Why I Ride ...
As a nurse who as worked in pediatric oncology at Children's Hospital Boston for over 25 years, I have seen how advances in research, patient programs and clinical excellence have improved the lives of children with cancer. The Pedals for Pediatrics team directs all donations to support the children and families undergoing cancer treatment at Dana-Farber/Children's Hospital Cancer Center. Thanks to your donations, we have been able to provide direct financial assistance to families, support new and existing patient programs and fund research in pediatric cancer. The mission of Pedals for Pediatrics is "to ease the burden of childhood cancer with every mile ridden and every dollar raised". Your donation will directly support children with cancer and their families throughout the cancer journey and beyond.
