Why I Ride ...
Hi,
This is my fifth PMC. I am riding for my son Kyle. Kyle (13), was diagnosed with Leukemia in April of 04. As of May 06, Kyle has finished his two years of chemotherapy treatment. Kyle continues to go the Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund for routine blood work to insure his body is still in remission. So far, so good! We are thrilled to see Kyle doing well physically and academically.This school year Kyle is in the advanced orchastra (cello), is Drake the Butler in the schools musical production of Annie (May), and involved with the Leo's club. As we paln for the summer, Kyle is looking forward to returning to the Orleans Firebirds (Cardinals) as a bat boy and spending a week at Boy Scout Camp in NH. Kyle is my hero and inspiration for the PMC.
Again, I am riding on the Pedals for Pediatrics team. The teams fundraising benefits the children at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and at Children's. I am looking forward to this years ride and fundraising opportunities!
