This will be my second year riding in the PMC and riding for Pedals for Pediatrics.  It's my very small way of beginning to repay the kindness that we as a family experienced at Children's Hospital Boston, the Jimmy Fund Clinic and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute when our beloved Timothy was being treated at those institutions between May 2007 and September 2008 for acute myeloid leukemia.  Joanne, Brendan, Matt, Chris and I-- and so many others-- miss Tim terribly, so very much more than mere words can express....  I ride in Tim's memory-- to honor him and the many other children with cancer whom we have come to know, some of whom, like Tim, have also been taken from us-- in hopes of raising a meaningful amount of money to support these fine institutions and their noble efforts to find cures.
