I am so proud to be riding my 5th Pan Mass Challenge as a member of Team Brent Wheels! I feel very lucky to be a part of this amazing team, doing amazing things.  We ride 200 miles in two days from Sturbridge Village through beautiful Cape Cod and finish in P-Town. All in honor of our friend Brent McCreesh. (The photo is of Brent greeting our team at a rest stop last year!!)

 At age two, Brent was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer that targets young children. Brent is currently cancer-free, and a very active 9 year old boy, but just a few years ago the story (and probable outcome) would have been much different. That's why I feel so strongly about making this ride, and raising as much money as possible for finding a cure.  Everyone, especially kids, would be far better off without cancer in our lives.

We have an unbelievable 62 member team this year.  Our common goal is to raise much needed $ for cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  100% of all monies pledged to the members of Team Brent Wheels will go towards research on Neuroblastoma.

  Just 10 years ago kids had a 30% chance of surviving a battle with cancer, today the survival rate of pediatric cancer is 70% and improving each day.  What caused this dramatic improvement?  Money.  Donations from thousands of people and corporations have been used to research treatments and cures for all types of cancer and it is making a difference.
