Kathy Foley-Giorgio's Ride

Why I Ride ...

We had a terrific ride in 2007 and reached our goal--just in the nick of time--thanks to many generous donations.

Team H.I.P. (hope-inspiration-power) Cyclers will not be riding this year.  However, we plan to be back in action for PMC 2010!

Best wishes to 2009 PMCers.  Ride on...

                     *********************
In 2007, twelve relatives/friends rode with my Living Proof survivor rider cousin, Mary Beth Morrill Gibson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2006. We also rode in memory of her mom Diane Morrill (who died from breast cancer in 1996) and in honor of our Pedal Partner--Caroline Lane, an 8-year old who is surviving Osteosarcoma (childhood bone cancer).  As I pedaled,  I kept those who passed away and those who valiantly survive in mind.

Friends/family continue to be diagnosed with cancer, and I want it to end. Your financial support is needed to enable more people to survive/ and thrive after a cancer diagnosis. To do the PMC, one has to ride the miles and raise the funds ($2,600 for one-day riders). Please give a donation to support our H.I.P. (Hope-Inpiration-Power) Cyclers team.

Thanks.
