Why I Ride ...
The John-Barbara Tandem Team rides again! This year, we've opted for the Wellesley-Bourne-Wellesley PMC. It's 150 miles of pedaling over two days. Here's hoping we won't have to finish in a downpour this time. The fundraising challenge is steep, just like those hills we'll be climbing: $5,000 to be raised by me; $5,000 to be raised by Barbara. Last year, our support team (that's you) overcame a bad economy and the shock of imagining Barbara and me crisscrossing Massachusetts attired only in spandex. You helped us contribute OVER $12,000 to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. BRAVO! We love you for your gift of hope to kids and adults who struggle daily against cancer. Please go the distance for them. The tandem bike has just two seats, but when Barbara and I look to the front, we see you there, pulling us along.
