Why I Ride ...
My ride is in honor of Ryan Reardon, who is currently undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma. As part of the 'Friends for Life' team, all of my funds will be directed for research to find a cure for this disease.
Note: One of Ryan's claims to fame (other than being quite the connoisseur of any type of berry) is that he accepted the David Ortiz jersey buried in the new Yankee Stadium on behalf of the JImmy Fund ( http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2008/04/curse_jersey_to.html ).
