Why I Ride ...
Hey Everybody,
This is our daughter, Courtney. She will turn 4 years old later this month. Courtney was diagnosed with Leukemia on New Years Eve 2008.
Elaine and Courtney have traveled in to Dana Farber close to 100 times for treatment since last February. The care that we receive from the doctors, nurses, and staff there has been amazing. We are so thankful that we live so close to an amazing facility.
Last year, I rode the PMC for the first time and it was one of the most emotional and rewarding weekends of my life. I have decided to ride in the PMC again this year in hopes that the money that I raise will not only help the parents that are going through what Elaine and I are going through, but hopefully prevent other parents from having to go through this ordeal at all.
