Why I Ride ...
We all unfortunately have some connection to cancer and understand the strength and resources required to battle the disease. I have been touched by the enduring fortitude of a 11 year old boy, Harry who was diagnosed with craniopharyngioma .
I am riding in in support of "Pedal for Pediatrics" - a group from Dana Farber and Childerns Hospital which is dedicated to pediatric oncology programs . http://pedalsforpediatrics.org. This group includes many of the doctors and nurses who worked with Harry in his battle with cancer.
Every dollar contributed to the Pedals for Pediatrics team goes to pediatric oncology and neuro-oncology programs.
These programs have served as a potent weapon in Harry's winning battle.
