Why I Ride ...
My name is Jim Partridge and for 2011 this will be my eighth Pan-Mass Challenge ride. I will be riding the 163 mile route from Wellesley to Provincetown. I am doing this ride because I know that there are many people who have or had cancer and they are unable to put their bodies through this type of ride. The benefit of this ride is that I will be raising funds for cancer research and prevention. I believe that since I am able to put my body through this challenge I should do it to help others. My challenge is to complete this ride which I feel will be a major accomplishment for me, however it is nothing compared to the challenge that people who have cancer face every day. This ride and fundraising event is my way of giving something back to society.
My goal is to raise $5,000 and I really need your help in achieving this. Any donation that you can make to support this extremely important cause will be greatly appreciated.
