John Manning's Ride

Riding...Riding....Riding.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and considering donating.

This will be my third year riding in the Pan Mass Challenge.  It is a challenge in so many ways, physical, emotional, financial but nothing as great as the challenges faced by those fighting cancer.  When I am grinding up a hill along the course, I just put it in perspective and it really isn't all that hard. ( one just needs to train and hydrate, hydrate hydrate !...lessons learned in yr 1 ). This  is the 20th anniversary of my Dad's passing from cancer. In addition, both of my grandfathers died from cancer as well.   This year I have two close friends that are fighting cancer.  They are fighting the good fight and  beating the odds. I am riding in memory of my Dad, Grandfathers and my friends.

Remember that 100 % of what you donate is tax deductible and 100% of what you give goes directly to the Dana Faber.  All of the administrative costs are covered by sponsors.  That is just one of the things that  makes the  PMC a standard for others to follow.

Please, make whatever donation you feel comfortable with.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart and appreciate the time you have taken to come to the site, read what I have to say and finally, for your contribution.

Thanks,

John
