Why I Ride ...
I was invited to ride on Team Luca in 2007 - Jeff and Megan DeLisi had lost their little boy to cancer in 2005. It gave me a chance to do something in a small way. My friend Stuart lost his battle to kidney cancer just a few months before the ride. I pinned pictures of Luca and Stuart on my shoulder -- they were with me over the course of my 6 hour ride. I can't describe that day but it was powerful as if everything that makes us human was possible. I am psyched for 2009!
