Jason Korsmeyer's Ride
Why I Ride ...
I will be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge in honor of Stan. Since Evan and I began riding in the PMC we have made an effort to honor the memory of our father by raising funds for basic cancer research.
In that tradition, this year we are directing our funds towards Patrick Wen, MD. Patrick is the Director of the Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center and partners with Chuck Stiles, PhD to advance research in the area of brain cancer. In concert with Dr. Stiles, Patrick Wen has been able to advance efforts toward identifying new drug-susceptible targets in tumors, evaluating the activities of drugs against these targets, and launching clinical trials to test potential new therapies.
In the past two years, Evan and I have raised over thirty five thousand dollars thanks to your contributions. We will continue to ride and are hopeful that you will continue to support basic cancer research directed at eradicating cancer.
