Why I Ride ...

Hi!
I have 8 siblings, 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
I finally completed the ride for the first time in 2007 and because it was so enjoyable and satisfying I plan to make it an annual activity.
One reason I decided to do this is because, after nearly 20 years of fighting it my younger brother, Larry, died in October of 2006 of testicular cancer at the ripe old age of 47. And then in February of 2007 my son, Tim, at the age of 26, was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. He went through over 6 months of chemo treatments and 1 month of radiation. In February of 2008 he was declared cancer free and if he stays that way for 5 years he will be considered cured. So it's true that there is some light at the end of the tunnel. He began riding the PMC with me in 2009.
My goal is to raise as much for this dread disease as I can.
Any donation you can give toward my goal will be greatly appreciated by me, but most importantly, by those who have gone or are going through the pain and suffering of cancer and the chemo/radiation treatments needed to help them beat this disease.
