Why I Ride ...
I am honored to ride with Team Luca again in 2009. The team was formed by Jeff De Lisi in memory of his son, Luca De Lisi, who died at the age of three years after a courageous fight against Medulloblastoma, a pediatric brain tumor. In June 2005, with the birth of our son only days away, we heard about the loss of Luca. In an instant we knew, in a profound way, how blessed we really were. I join with the other members of Team Luca to ride in Luca's honor. Every day I look at the picture we keep of Luca on our fridge, as a daily reminder of how fragile life can be, and to always appreciate what we have. Now I am asking that you will join us in honoring Luca, while advancing the cure for cancer by sponsoring my ride. All money raised by Team Luca will be used toward research for pediatric brain tumors at Boston's Dana Farber Cancer Institute. You can donate by clicking on the link below.
