Johanna Denapoli's Ride
Why I Ride ...
I recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors in Fine Arts (graphic design). As a new chapter is beginning in my life, I wanted to take this opportunity to accomplish one of my life goals: to ride the PMC with my Dad. I spent most of my summers growing up watching him train and take part in the Pan Mass Challenge. It was an exciting part of our summers! To a young girl, it seemed so heroic to watch her father ride for hours and take part in a 2-day bike ride to help cure such a terrible, life threatening disease. Years he did not participate we would still cheer on the riders, both getting choked up at the emotion behind such an event.
I have seen cancer affect the lives of close family and friends and I want to help fight for a cure and touch the hearts of those affected. This fundraiser has always been a part of my life and now I am excited to personally be able to make a difference and accomplish the ride with my dad!
If you know and love anyone that has ever been touched by cancer, you know how traumatic it is to anyone affected. Take this opportunity to make a difference by donating to my fundraiser or sponsor my ride! Any and ALL donations are GREATLY appreciated and go directly toward the fight for cancer!
Contact me at johannadenapoli@gmail.com if you are donating from a business/company that would like me to wear a t-shirt I will design and wear during the ride with their logo on it! If you have someone you would like me to ride in honor of- please let me know!
